State employee unions already acquiesced to cutbacks in statehouses across the country. That's solely what had to be done for the time being. It can and should be changed when the situation allows. What they are doing, in seeking to permanently destroy unions, is pure Dickensian evil, from their ficticous political delusion to repression of the workforce. The unions weren't even the big contributors to the Obama campaign in 2008, that goes to the massing of small individual contributions, dollar at a time. |
