The owner of the Clippers, Donald Sterling, was charged with violating the Fair Housing Act and now his newspaper ads are required to feature models of various races. I guess if you use only one race it gives the impression that only one race is preferred. In his case I think that he was renting exclusively to Koreans at his Koreatown properties and now uses black and Hispanic models.It was the same thing with HIV. Initially it was seen as a "white problem" even as blacks were disproportionately effected. |
