Corporate welfare? Well, we agree on that. CW should be stopped in its tracks at once, but the fact is the legislature is worse. They constantly want to spend more than they take in and want us to pay for it. What on earth justifies Ex-governor Davis giving the prison guards a 37% increase in retirement benefits? That keeps up and the state will be bankrupt and so will the people who are going to be taxed to death. Arnold knew something needed to be done and so the the people who elected him two years ago. However, when push came to shove those same people didn't want to give up their comforts and decided to follow the same course----the course to financial disaster. |
