Maryland doesn't want it.1. We are very happy with our 24 units: 23 counties and Baltimore City. Add Delaware's 3 counties and we would have 27, an odd number. Can't have that. 2. We have a sales tax, Delaware doesn't. Messy to fix. We need the money, Delaware doesn't. They have DuPont. 3. Delaware has slots. Maryland doesn't. Slots 4, coming to the General Assembly starting in January. Same cast as Slots 1,2 & 3. Same script. |
