No, it would require notification at least 48 hours before an abortion, allowing the parents to make an effort to stop the abortion, depriving the girl's right to an abortion.Not only is it a violation of her right to privacy, but also in a way violates her right to freedom of religion, as she would be required to abide by the tenets of her parents religion against her will in a way that would affect her long after she is free of them at age 18. |
