Some of the '70s cars were pretty nice, even after the emissions regs, oil embargo and insurance industry got through with them. But as far as performance went, they were all show, no go. The '74 GTO was a travesty, the '75 and later Chargers were basket cases and the 360 Plymouth Road Runners of the late '70s (gussied up Volares) were jokes. |
