Actually, I would see it as bad news for only one reason: The roads leading to that area cannot support a Walmart...not with a Target and a BJ's already there.They should be allowed to open in New York City---somewhere else where traffic concerns wouldn't be a problem, at least for a traditional location. I would suggest near the Staten Island Mall for the first location...and then Walmart should work on formatting its stores for the urban inner-city environment. |
