I'm pretty sure some of these prophets were lucky enough to have had their prophecy coincide with then unexplained phenomena, which caused people to believe they were right.I'm pretty sure people wrote histories in suitably obscure and flowery language after the event and then ascribed their works to semi-mythical soothsayers of a few centuries beforehand. |
