I posted the same group twice to show that they did, in fact, march in the parade.

You had to post the same group twice because they were one of the few people dressed like that in the parade....and they were wearing jeans, they weren't even dressed like they were in the calendar....and at least they would have had a reason to dress like they were in the calendar, as they were promoting their calendar.
And what makes you assume they were "straight". They may be gay. They may not.

Straight, posing for calendars = OK

Who said it wouldn't be okay if they were gay in that parade, promoting that calendar. And how do you know they AREN'T gay?

Gay, wearing Speedos = "inappropriate"

Yes, when it's the majority of the parade. What other parade has the majority of the parade with people like that? And let's not mention a beach-themed parade like the Mermaid parade where at least that's the theme. (Not to mention that most of of the half naked people are gays, guys in drag (probably gay), or transexuals showing their new "assets" they took horemones to grow.

Straight, scantily clad = "random"

Gay, scantily clad = "overtly sexual", "the entire parade"

Facts are facts. You may get a few random people in other parades. So yes, it is random. The gay parade is the majority of the parade like that.

Both the PR and West Indian parades feature plenty of scantily clad participants, and both parades celebrate this as a display of culture.

Not nearly as much as the gay parade. So you are saying being half naked and wearing speedos is "a display of culture" for gays. Okay, well then you are admitting that Easy was right with his original statement, that the gay parades are "overly sexual".

But somehow, when gay men appear in revealing dress, it becomes "sexual", "inapropriate", and "disgusting".

I said it was "inappropriate for children", I didn't say they can't have the parades. But if they can have them, people are allowed to notice and mention that the majuority of the participants are dressed like that. How come gays are allowed (in your book) to display themselves like that, but no one is allowed to comment on it, and then all of a sudden that's wrong. The double standard is with YOU saying that gays can do whatever they want, but no one is allowed to question it, and if they do, they are being "hateful".
I haven't said one hateful thing here, an observation, criticism, or mention of something, doesn't mean I don't think they should do what they want.
