I did use a disclaimers that he might have a point and that I haven't been to a gay pride parade. If he is making stuff up then he is just plain wrong. But my guess is that you are just used to seeing such behavior because you attend so many gay events around the country. For prudes like me they can be pretty shocking.Take Mardi Gras and the WeHo Halloween Parade for example. At Mardi Gras there is all kinds of wild behavior and Bourbon Street is no place for kids at night. But aside from a few chicks lifting their tops for beads, which you can mostly avoid if you want, there's not much sexual. Except for the gays. They walk around Bourbon Street in leather chaps with their asses completely exposed (no straight chicks do anything like this) or in thongs that leave little to the imagination. There is not much "sex" that I saw, but I didn't hang around that end of Bourbon Street much. I haven't been to the WeHo Parade, but I did see a participant on the bus last year the day after the parade. By all apperances he was practically naked. Maybe these are the exceptions and the gay pride parades are nothing like this. I dunno. |
