Could be I miss or don't get the clever stuff. It seems to go for the obvious from what I've seen. I'd probably like the English version better. I don't care for Steve Carrell.Exactly, the politically incorrect and taboo topics the show jokes about is part of its cleverness and is part of what makes it stand out from other shows. If you don't like the first American season of The Office then you won't like the British version as most of the jokes during the first American season were copied from the British version. |
