Because the families of the 9/11 victims compained that its "scared ground" (Mainly the ones who never got back any remains). Hence the WTC not being rebuilt to the way it orgnally was. By using that logic they should leave the whole WTC site an empty pit since people died all over that site, for example some jumpers landed on the marriot building, currently their building an air vent for the PATH station & Museum where the marriot used to stand!They will restore Greenwich street though the site, a whole bunch of jumpers landed where greenwich street will run though GZ. Rescue workers also found human remains inside the sphere that used to be inside the WTC plaza, now its on display in Battery park. They should have rebuilt the WTC the way it was pre 9/11, but with advanced saftey features and five extra floors. |
