No more than Americans would say "God Bless America". That is not done IN THE NAME of religion, but instead a thought that what we are doing is right. The Muslims did it IN THE NAME of their religion.And you better believe that people would have been protesting a Japanese Shrine near Pearl Harbor in the 1950's. They probably would still today, even though the wounds between us and Japan have long since healed. |
