So the Obamas are Congregationalists then.essentially yes. According to the article, it appears that they also merged with the old Reformed churches. That may mean that old NY stuff like Calvinist-inspired Dutch Reformed churches are UCC. I guess "Congregationalist" or "Dutch Reformed" sounds better than "UCC". |
