We didn't form our case for war on a 20 year old attempt at genocide, and even if we did then we'd presumably be drawn into every other instance of genocide around the country. Instead we invaded because of his supposed nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. But we've never even found evidence that they existed beyond Operation Desert Storm.So how exactly did Saddam Hussein precipitate Operation Iraqi Liberation when he neither had NBC weapons, nor had the means to produce them? |
