Well SMAZ, we should all be proud of who we are. Look, if a person doesn't like himself he probably can't love someone either.Narcisism never brought progress. There is a difference between self-confidence and a positive self-image based on reality and achievement versus artificial and undeserved self-esteem. The former leads to great things. The latter leads to high schools having 50 valedictorians and the let-down those kids will have when they discover that in the real world, they are not what they were led to believe. The latter is a formula for disaster. |
