That was a paramilitary organization, and was a terrorist organization. HOWEVER, their motives were political, and not religious. It would be terribly offensive for someone to try and build a Puerto Rican cultural center near the Tavern, regardless of this being a poor analogy, as only 4 people were killed, as opposed to 3000, and it wasn't religious in nature either, furthermore, it's 30 years ago, not 9. |
