But David, this is where you are wrong....this isn't "Tea Party Morons", it's 3/4 of the American people that feel this way. The majority of Democrats also oppose the LOCATION of this mosque. This isn't anti mosque, it's anti the location. The problem is, their refusal to even remotely acknowledge the fact that this is a sensitivity issue has made a sad situation to a boiling point. Unfortunately, the pot is now stirred, and unfortunately, all it will do is increase animosity towards Islam.Relations are worse now than they were after 911. But of course, back then at least we had a President that knew how to lead, and kept reinforcing the fact that it wasn't a war on Islam, but at least didn't make a practice of insulting Americans themselves, as our current, divider of a president does. All Obama has done was make Americans even angrier. |
