Our standard of living is very high compared to countries like India and everything tends to cost more."The same holds true for Europe, and yet, we manage to get better overall results in the healthcare department (higher life expectancy, lower infant mortality,...) in Europe, for a considerably lower cost than the US. So, while the higher cost and standard of living certainly factors in, it doesn't paint the whole picture. "but he was trying to be funny" No, he was trying to be demeaning. |
