Why is it okay for there to be "Black Pride" or "Puerto Rican Day Pride" parades, etc? What did "they do to achieve the "blackness" that they are so proud of, to use your phrase? One takes pride in personal ACHIEVEMENTS, not something that you did absolutely nothing to attain. I would agree, except for the fact that how does that explain the "Black Pride", or the (fill in a blank) Pride" crap? I'm sure you and others of all races may have many things to be proud of but one's skin pigmentation is not one of those things. Totally agreed. But again, see above. |
