Too bad; the masses should not have say over private property that isn't objective. They can always offer money to buy the property.However, there is something that is on topic that could stop it---namely the curvature of the tunnel between Park Place and Chambers Street---that could stop it if they insist on a new building. The rest of the country outside the USA should butt out of our local business...especially anyone in federal government. If 99 percent of the people oppose it, they should be told to get lost, this is private property. And that's on principle. (I personally support it if and only if the existing building is used.) |
