He wants that location because it lets them whip their empty headed followers into a frenzy. There are just enough morons who will let this xenophobic shouting sway their opinion come November to cause them to vote Republican. A Republican congress means they get his oil companies can get their enormous bailouts from the federal treasury again.The song remains the same and it still sucks. From 2002 to 2006 it was gay marriage. But now that people finally realized the world won't end if someone of the same sex is given legal protection to express their love of someone of the same sex, that approach has jumped the shark. Now they can spill their racist, xenophobic vitriol over this, ride the ignorance into office, and then quietly shelve their issue once they run congress. Come 2012 they can trot out the finished mosque as an example of 'liberal' democratic NYC zoning/planning/whatever agencies, along with Obama (of course), not doing their job and letting the terrorists destroy America or some crap. |
