Posted by Spider-Pig on Mon Aug 30 11:03:05 2010 When a gas station has the big sign visible from the street showing only the CASH prices for gas (credit being higher priced) and it either doesn't say those are cash prices, or it's small and invisible so you only realize after pulling up to the pump. I filled up with 1.5 gallons of gas today at such a station. At an 8¢ price difference, I still saved with credit (w00t for CC bonuses), but I was going back to NJ and only stopped for gas in NY because I didn't have time for full serve. And that reminds me: You know what really grinds my gears? NJ FULL SERVE!There should be a law that requires that either both sets of prices must be posted equally prominently, that the words CASH must be the same size as the prices, or that cash only prices must be in red instead of black. |
