It is apparent that he did work for an organization which, amongst other causes, does support the lower Manhattan mosque, but how are we to know he agreed with all their causes? The movie he made on US troops in Afghanistan clearly glorifies them as civilizing a group of indigenous savages. More importantly his own writings speak far louder than any of his associations, and they point to an ingrained anti-Islamic stance regardless of his views on any other issue. This is a classic case of 'In Vino, Veritas' and just another conservative addled with ridiculous dogma carrying through that doctrine the moment alcohol eroded his judgement.Stabbings, church burnings, what's next guys? A kristallnacht-like racist siege of Muslim owned properties followed by making them wear little crescents so you can properly identify them? |
