I am defending the right of the Muslims to build their mosque, because THEIR rights are also OUR rights. If we allow their right to worship at the place and manner of their choice away, then WE become fair game for those seeking to take that same right away from us.I think the Islamic attitude and behavior towards gays and lesbians is reprehensible, inhuman, and dangerous. However, I'm not about to condone denying them the same rights we all expect and enjoy under our Constitution. When we start denying groups we disagree with certain rights, we deny them to ourselves as well. |
