Pretending or not, they were acting on their own twisted version of Islam, and supported through Muslim organizations. You can say all you want that "The Taliban" and all these other Muslim organizations supporting people like this aren't "real" Muslims, it doesn't change the fact that these people did this as Fundamentalist Muslims, in the name of Islam, and it doesn't change the fact that 3000 people are dead.I can argue similarly that Christian Fundamentalists that blow up abortion clinics "aren't really Christians" either, but that doesn't change the fact that that ere Christian fanatical fundamentalists. |
