Major brands of American beer have a reputation, in the EU, as generally being lightweight crap that tastes awful. I'm surprised Trollog hasn't tied it in to some stupid political EU plot of the type he's always carrying on about. You now, the one's with hotlinks that no one reads. That being said. IMO, American beer, in general *is* crap.Budweiser, eeeeew. I do drink beer about once a month and it's never American mainstream swill. Some foreign brews, never Heineken, smells like skunk piss. Certain "high octane" malt liquors, yes, they achieve the desired result quickly. Joose is my current fave at almost 20 proof and up (9.9% alc. 20 proof!)it gets the job done, comes in about 8 flavors too! And available at all midtown, get this, Duane Reades in many flavors @ 3$ for a 24 oz cans. Rosa recently posted he tried Joose and was embarrassed that he liked it, I did the same based on his recommendation. |
