That's like saying people are Italosnobs for not going to Olive Garden or Mexisnobs for not going to Taco Bell.Yes you are, and you don't even realize it. And your analogy is off too. "Olive Garden" is a fast food chain restaurant based on an ethnic food. So is Tacobell, except that of course is not a sit dow restaurant like Olive Garden. "Budweiser" is NOT a beer trying to impersonate a "beer". It IS a style of beer that many people find appealing. It's like saying you like Granny Apples better than Red Delicious. The analogy YOU are trying to make of the beer situation is tofu burgers trying to impersonate real meat burgers. THAT is NOT the case with Budweiser taste vs "German" beer taste. |
