Actually, Debbie Harry of "Blondie" performed one of the earliest rap songs.... "Rapture" (RAPture). It may not be the very first rap song, but it was certainly one of the earliest. And she was a blond haired blue eyed woman yet....Rapture was also the first rap song to hit the charts. Bill Newkirk |
