I can honestly say I never ran into that in my time as a kid and alterboy at St Lukes (138st) back in the mid 60's.In H.S.....it was the Augustine guys at Tolentine. No incidences there either. There were rumors of a couple of priest being seen after hours with females, some of them HS seniors. But...these guys were still in thier 20's and these gal's...well maybe even 18. It was over 30 yrs ago my fiend...so the memories a bit fuzzy. Also there were a couple of lay teachers, who were young, as well, who got it on with some chicks after they graduated.....and none of this bothers me in the least. None of it's child abuse...or even close to it. Now...I don't deny there's perv priest who need to be punished....I ain't seen 'em and I refuse to cast a negative lite on the rest of them. Just like any other profession....bad apples here & there.....but most are honest & clean. Jimmymc25 |
