I can understand the grief of a parent or child who lost their parents, BUT their grief is no excuse for ignorant rage and lack of understanding of a situation or religion or people, which those families of 9/11 victims who oppose this project are guilty of. The radical terrorists who destroyed the WTC on 9/11 are not true followers of Islam, they tarnish the religion. If I lost someone on 9/11 I would support this project because being American shows that we dont discriminate, that we're better than the terrorists think we are and that we're not ignorant. Those who oppose this project have a misplace and misguided rage towards innocent people, and this is the type of rage and ignorance that terrorist want to see and use as propaganda. |
