I haven't been listening to the radio or watching the news much the last few days and can't believe what I've been hearing today. The accepted discussion is even worse than subchat. People are outraged without any idea of what they are outraged about. All kinds of rumors regarding this law (see any post by bingbong on this issue) are accepted as fact. No one in the media or any of their guests seem to have read the law and are instead starting with the premise that white people in Arizona are racist and implementation of this law will be handled in a racist manner. How can you even debate people that make it up as they go along and have no interest in the truth? |
