Smoking rates have plummeted in the last few decades.And obesity rates have risen - see the correlation. It is too bad that government does not embrace the new electronic cigarettes. If you are sucking on one of those that is less time that people have to crave munchies. Drinking is no longer what it used to be. NCO and Officer Clubs on military bases and posts are closing because young people don't go out and drink as often with their buddies as earlier generations. Perhaps because the bars ban smoking - no sense in hanging around if you can't smoke and drink. |
