Had to force myself to finish it. Very disturbing. Surprised the parents' allowed it. But it's true that the times were different back then and people weren't so sensitive. Teachers would sometimes give children hugs if a child was crying or was disturbed about something. Today, they are instructed not to touch anyone or face being brought up on charges. |
