Don't know of the reporter who wrote it, but if you're going to write up such specific attributions, you need to name the source or the credibity is seriously in question. And when you get a story like this with so much juice to it, you have to ask yourself "why are they telling me this?" before you commit to ink. That's an editor's job.I don't see anything here about the "gang of four" pushing anything, the way it's written seems to suggest that Spitzer tried to get a large number of people to run with him and was turned down by everybody. It also APPEARS that he wanted some black person to run with him, but not one of Hillary's people which has been very much in keeping with NYC politics as she's not one of Judy Hope's minions. Dunno what to make of the story though ... it seems to be saying things that are not supported by the actualities offered and seems to be hanging Dave as well as Spitzer on inuendo. I'll have to pass on an opinion here ... not enough evidence. :( |
