And even if they did pay, why did they feel compelled to take a 4-HOUR TRAIN RIDE to Whitehorse for medical care? Why wasn't US care good enough?The final nail 1. There was no US alternative outside a precarious and unpredictable airplane/ferry ride to Juneau, which could take half a day. 2. The train ride was free, he worked for the railroad. Game. Set. Match. Now go sit down. |
