There are those in the black community who are trying to make abortion a race issue, instead of a women's issue, but it's not gaining momentum.Can you imagine if the right-wing came out with statements like, "We want our elected officials to support government funded abortions, or it will devastate the GOP in future elections"? Then you might see the liberals back off the issue. I guess black conservatives see it this way too. |
