The grounds of discrimination are blind to that argument. There are no grounds for discrimination. It's like SubChat where Larry is the Pope. If Larry wants to ban somebody for saying something anti-train, he is free to do so. The banned person has no grounds to sue him just because Larry hasn't also banned people who say that buses suck. It's up to Larry to decide what is "excommunicable", not US law. It's the same with a religion. The Church has decided that homosexual sex is a graver sin than unmarried heteresexual sex and there are no legal grounds to overrule that. They are under no legal obligation to provide for "equality of sin". |
