For one thing, the company that was chosen by NYC, is the largest manufacturer of amusements world wide. NYC has committed funds for infrastructure improvements, the Acquarium is receiving over 100 million for upgrades including new sharks, (If they really want sharks they can go to 16 COurt Street LOL!!) This company has a 10 year lease and is investing big money in the amusement area. By 2011, CI will have more amusements and rides than at any time after 1964. This is a good thing. NYC families will be attracted to CI as well as tourists. |
