My brother went to Aviation HS, a free public school that's among the best in the nation. It sure beat going to the then-awful LIC HS or the pricy St. John's Prep (then called Mater Christi HS).There are plenty of choices of high quality public schools in NYC. We are very fortunate in that sense. Of course, I don't blame you or your parents to want to go to CTK since it was close to where you lived and you probabaly had friends there. It's all a choice about what works best for a particular person. |
