Sounds as though someone is trying to play CYA here, knowing that (s)he screwed up---and it's likely at the Pentagon. Don't believe for a minute that that's the real reason.The report should have thrown someone under the bus, and I would say it should have been the first person who received the information from the FBI and failed to pass it on to General Robert Cone (commanding officer of Fort Hood). |
