They don't enforce open container laws on Bourbon St because there aren't any! I don't believe there are open container laws anywhere in New Orleans.I have seen cops come up to people and say, "Sir, give me that"....grab a bottle of beer out of the guy's hand, then grap a plastic cup from a bag, pour the beer into the cup, hand it back to the guy, and then say "Here, enjoy your night, now glass bottles please....." |
