Sarah Palin, who is thought by many not to be the sharpest tack in the box, doodles on her hand things that she shouldn't have to doodle, she consults said doodling several times during a Q&A, and uses said doodling almost verbatim. You allege that by acting like a ditz, she knew that she would be criticized for being a ditz, and she hopes to turn the tables by somehow convincing those who thought that she was/is a ditz that she wasn't/isn't a ditz.Given that her speech included a teleprompter joke, it's possible that the palm-reading was a poor attempt at satirizing the President, especially since it was so deliberate. |
