To ascribe some sort of newfound respect for either Romney or the republicans is to totally miss what the voters were saying ...Obviously, it wasn't univocal: there wasn't toleration of what Princess Martha was all about. But I think that MA voters did endorse a Republican who wasn't far right, anti-abortion, prudish, totally laissez faire, etc. p.s., I hear that on behalf of Princess Caroline, Mayor Moneybags is really pumping up Harold Ford's candidacy, and Democratic leaders are putting the screws to David Paterson not to seek a full term. |
