I'd heard, but never experienced that McDonalds in Florida sold beer and that you could get it from drive thru's until the early 1980's. Not sure that I believe it so take it FWIW.I'll ask a few locals who have lived here their entire lives. They might remember. I would not be surprised if it's true. Especially in the party towns like Daytona, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami. Florida just passed a seat belt law. We now have to buckle up. That one has many people pissed off. |
