No waaayyy dude! :)LA is definitely the top city for burgers! Saying that NYC might be the tops for burger is like me saying that LA is tops for hot dogs (instead of Chicago) or pizza (instead of Chicago)! We have other burger chains as well. Tommy's is famous although they only have a few locations, but they have spawned dozens and maybe hundreds of imitators (Tommies, Tommi's, Original Tommies, on and on). Fatburger was started out here by a black woman from south LA. Plus all of our local mom and pop diner style places are essentially burger/taco places. And there are hundreds of those. Maybe one thousand. And I have a Five Guys down the street from me. I like it and have eaten there a few times. |
