The more I read about the Fort Hood attack, the more I wonder if suspect Hasan wasn't a terrorist in the strictest sense of the word, but rather a severely mentally-ill man with big-time religious delusions. You've got to be pretty bent in the head to, as a member of the US Army, cry out "Allah Akbar!" and commence to shooting up a military base.Just because the man was a psychiatrist, doesn't mean he wasn't seriously crazy. Just something to ponder... |
