The problem is that you don't throw plane stats, you throw flights stats, and compare them to cars, which is wrong. The ratio of cars to planes is so great, every time a plane crashes, it's such a large percentage of the total fleet, it's the equivalent of a 100,000 car pile-up where everyone dies. |
