So was believing Senator DeMint that it was true without any qualification on your part.Being partisan (if I take your word that I am) is not the same as being a "right wing nut". You also did seem to suggest (though maybe you've backpedaled on this one), that the failure to catch the Nigerian was a purely Obama Administration failure, rather than their failure to fix a failed policy from the prior administration. I NEVER said it was "Obama's fault". I proposed a thought and asked a question....."if everything that happened during Bush's presidency was "Bush's fault", than this of course must be "Obama's Fault". I never said it WAS Obama's fault. That said, Selkirk posted an article that explains that two high ranking officials were NEVER appointed by this administration to positions that are supposed to take care of measures like this....a year into this presidency. It shows how unimportant this administration thinks the "war on terror" is to wait so long to fill positions like that. That's not a "failed policy from the prior administration", that's a failure in THIS administration. I never have hid my disdain for the current administration. That doesn't make me "partisan" or that I side with the "other side". It's hard to criticize the policies of the "other side" when they aren't even in power. |
