You are looking at the world through a very American-centric viewpoint.For most people in the rest of the world (excluding perhaps China, Canada, Australia and maybe one or two other countries) just about every flight they take lands in another country. That means if they are connecting (and air travel in 2009 means you very likely are) they would have to be screened and re-screened. It just isn't practical. In order to convince people that it were necessary, you'd need to show how it would produce a better result. I don't think you (or anyone) can do that. |
